Hi Joan!

I live in Burns and would be happy to swing by the Burns Times Herald on my
way to work and pick up the obit for you, if you like. I go to work at 4 PM
Mon-Fri and drive right by the newspaper office every day.

Also, if your friend would like any pictures from the area, either of Catlow
Valley, Fields, Frenchglen, Andrews, the Steens, etc., I have dozens
(hundreds?) of them. Catlow Valley is, without a doubt, my most favorite
place on earth! As a kid, I lived in the Willamette Valley near Eugene
Oregon, but spent my summers from 1965/6 to 1974 in Catlow with my grandma
and her "friend" Billy, who still lives there. I have wanted my whole life
to at least live in Harney County (which I now do), but most especially in
Catlow Valley at Billy's place. Billy is now 88 years old, but he still
lives out there; my grandma passed away in 1984.

Under the "Scenery" category, photo's #3 thru #10 are all in the Catlow
Valley/Steens Mtn. area. Under the "Old Stuff" category, all of the photos
are from the Catlow/Steens/Fields/Andrews area. And under the "Vehicles"
category, most of the pictures of our rigs were taken out there too!

happy to do so!
