Interesting dialog.
I wonder how my relation Sam K Matney fits in there , I know he had
battles with the Modoc, so I assumed so did all my people back then , sad
thing to because of how those times were and how we make friends to day.
My brick wall begins of the day of the Modoc HWY men and I think there
were problems between them and my people, I have read a lot about that time,
I just never saw the Modocs as normally hostile, may a little wild, but do we
all have some of those <grin>
I re-live some of those times from stories I hear , love to day dream it.
I wish I could find the story of how my great grand died, 1873 some where
near Alturas <Doris bridge> some where near Alturas or Antelope, I dont
know, I do know it was in CA from his probate .
To day I would just do as I always do, I pass friendships, to those who
will take them.
Dan
