I don't think it is Williams River; I think it is Williamson River. As far as the Camp #2, I think that must be Weyerhaeuser Co. They are the only ones I can remember that had numbered camps. I will try to find out where #2 was located. They were also the main company to haul their logs on trains. I have warm memories of those trains and the men riding them. When we were camping, some of our campsites were close to the tracks. As children, we listened for them and would jump with glee when they tooted the horns and waved. About 15 yrs ago, while out hunting, I came upon two rails laying in the middle of nowhere. There wasn't anything left of the ties they sat on. They did move some of the short tracks, but there were more than one line, as I remember. There are places where the bed and ties [rotten] are still showing, and they still have the big spikes in them.
If I can find out where #2 camp was, I will post it.

You might try a newspaper, they may have run adds for lumber.
