Julius "Gay" Lalo passed away in Klamath Falls at 11:45 p.m. Sat., July
10. The deceased was born on the reservation March 25, 1906. He was aged 31
years 3 months and 15 days when called. He was a grandson of the late Chief
Lalo, veteran who served with Captain Applegate. He leaves to mourn his loss
two brothers, Roland and Leon; two sisters, Mrs. Del Smith and Mrs. Cassie
Case; two nephews and one niece, all of Chiloquin. The funeral will be held
in the Methodist Church at Williamson River Wed., July 14,
at 2 p.m., the Rev. A.J. Neufeld officiating. Interment will be in the
family plot in Hill Cemetery.
