Edward Leland "Ed" Kollmar, 54, died Monday, January 20, 2003, at his Klamath Falls OR residence. He is survived by his wife, Phyllis K. Kollmar; daughter and son-in-law, Mehri and Kevin Lakey; stepsons and daughter-in-law, Glen and Amy Garcelon; James and Jeff Garcelon; grandchildren, Kaleb, Shayla and Zakary Lakey; Michaela and Thomas Garcelon; brothers, Bob, Dennis, David and Ted Kollmar; half brothers, Carl, Roger, Elton and Melvin Kollmar; numerous nieces, nephews and special friends including Ronnie and Sherry Schroeder; God Daughter, Katie Schroeder; Don Redsuell; Lee and Ben Patterson; and Russell Gomez and Family. Ed was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Gertrude Kollmar; an infant daughter, Angel; and step-son, Jerry Garcelon; and brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Ruth Philpott.

A Gathering of Family and Friends to Celebrate the Life of Ed, will be held at Veterans Park on Friday, January 24, 2003, at 1:00 p.m. with Full Military Honors provided by Pelican Post # 1383, V. F. W. A Reception will follow the gathering at 1400 Carlson Drive. In lieu of flowers, consider memorials in Ed's Memory to the Charity of the Donor's Choice. Davenport's Chapel of the Good Shepherd, directors.
