If you go to www.cursiter.com you will find the indices of most births and
marriages of Orkney names.

I had a look at LEASK and there are several that could be your Jean.

If you know how old she was when she married, that could narrow it down a
bit but there are certainly some possibilities there.

I have come across a Jane Leask who married James Scott 30 Nov 1860 in
Shapinsay. Does anyone know who her parents were?
