Flavia,
The Oregon Death index starts in 1903. No death records that I know of
prior to that.
I'll check with a friend who works at the Oregon Genealogical Society
here in Eugene to see if they can give some assistance. If I can get a
more exact death date perhaps we could find some information in the
University of Oregon microfilm files of the old Lane County newspapers.
