Eugene Register Guard Index Notes
The Register Guard Index indexes over 30,000 articles in the Eugene Register
Guard newspaper. The database is limited to citations on local (Lane County,
Oregon only) issues and people. Indexing is available from 1963 to 2003.
Indexing of articles was done by staff at the Eugene Public Library. The Eugene
Public Library generously gave this data to the UO Libraries in order to
ensure its continued availability.
The complete run of issues of The Eugene Register, Eugene Guard, Eugene
Register-Guard and the Register Guard are accessible in the UO Libraries'
_Microforms_ (http://libweb.uoregon.edu/govdocs/micro/index.html) collection, along
with other Eugene/Springfield area titles.
