Go to: http://www.rootsweb.com/ WorldConnect Project which is family trees. Enter Maude Smelser in the search slot. Four data bases will come up. Maude Smelser was married to my Ephraim Piatt. The person with the connection (I met her in Salt Lake City) is “Love2climb”. I’m sure the others data bases are similar.

Also Linn County Genealogy page has cemetery listings that have some of the Smelser family mentioned.
