In 1880 this NOTT family lived next to the Silas FOSTER family #58 and
the Ellison JOHNSON family #57. Marriages connected these families with

the WALK's, ADAIR's, GILLIAM's. I am trying to find the parents of
Nancy Jane (GILLIAM) JOHNSON. These families all have an Illinois
connection and probably new each other before they came to Oregon.
I don't have any more specific information on your George Ashby but I am

still gathering information on these families. Let me know if I can
look for anything specific as I go. If you can make connections to any
of these families, please contact me. Thanks.
