Newspaper research for listers.
There is a wonderful reference book called,
NEWSPAPERS ON MICROFILM. Most large libraries would have a copy for you do
get titles from.
You can order microfiche from your library and read it there. They will get
it from the closest source.
One reel takes days!! Start small...and use the exact dates you have for a
death date to get the newspaper edition.
I'd love any other newspaper tips.
Always check with the OREGON STATE ARCHIVES to see if they can help with
obits. They have an online database and you can send inquiries.
