Dear Listers,
It has finally come through the foggy mist of my brain, what the
name of neighbors of my grandparents, James Madison Miller and
Hattie (Haskin) Miller, when they lived near Sunnyside. I believe
their name was Gilliam, and they lived at the top of the hill, just
where the road turned into my grandparents home. Diane told me the
road is now 132nd Ave. (How awesome, that the little gravel road
that scared me to death every time my dad drove us up it in our
little model T Ford, starting out as fast as he could go, then
barely chugging around the corner into Grandma's driveway, as we
all breathed a sigh of relief, is now an Avenue! There were times he
didn't get a good enough "running start" and had to back clear out
to Sunnyside Rd. and try again. Another scary operation, backing
down that hill.)
Anyone knowing of the ?Gilliam family, or relatives of theirs, I
would love to hear from you.
