I recently posted to the Multnomah County List asking for information on getting records for patients that were housed in the Oregon State Insane Asylum. I got many great responses. Trough those contacted and got information on getting records searched and transcribed. Because it involves prices for services I wanted to make sure that it was OK to post. Several people have contacted me and ask to receive any information I might get on this process and want to share with the list but want to make sure it is appropriate otherwise I will write to individuals privately.
