We were by there a few years ago, exploring the area of my birth & trying to
find data on my Belden gg grandparents who went to Summerville about 1888.
The Sanitarium is no longer in use, but still standing. Steam still rises
from the lake. A lady at the museum in Union told us someone got a
government grant some time back to restore & reopen it, but skipped town
with the money.
