Chauncey J. Cook b. 1882 OR is the nephew of Emily "Emma" Brower b. 1848 MO.
Emma Brower arrived in La Grande, Union Co. OR as of 1882 along with her mother Nancy Brower and a number of sisters.

In 1900 census at Hamilton, Grant Co OR Chauncey is listed in the home of John O. Mills.
John O. Mills was the husband of Emma Brower, she died 1895. She was living in Union Co at the time of her death at home.

Chauncey was taken to live in the home of John and Emma Mills from 1890 onward.

Chauncey J. Cook must be the son of one of the sisters of Emma Brower. They were:
1. Sarah
2. Amanda
3. Cyntha Ann
4. Martha
5. Elizabeth

I do not know yet who are the parents of Chauncey J. Cook. If you are related or have any info about this man please write back.
