Hi folks, I thought I might as well add my lot to mixing pot. I am looking for Richard OSBOURNE b. abt. 1784 supposedly in Limerick, Ireland. He marr. Elizabeth SHAW b. abt. 1779 supposedly from Gibralter.

I have never been able to find either his birth, parents nor marriage to Elizabeth. I still can't find Elizabeth's birth or parents either.

He was a Serjt. in the 15th Regiment of Foot and on these documents it is stated that he was from Limerick. He died in 1860 in the Channel Islands.

As far as I know they had four children, Thomas abt. 1819, Elenor abt. 1827, Elizabeth abt. 1831 and Mary abt. 1832. I stem from Elenor who migrated to Australia. I have Elenor's marr. certificate which gives her father as Serjt. and Elizabeth SHAW as mother.

So any help or ideas on where to find my Richard and Elizabeth sure would be appreciated,
