I am looking for any information regarding a John Osborne, b 1847, in
Milltown, N.B. Canada. his father , Thomas Osborne
emmigrated to Canada on the ship Protector, out of Londonderry, I
suppose about 1820. Thomas was born 1807/9 and settled in New Brunswick.
We know he married an Ellen Carmody, maiden name was Scanlon ( so it
appears she may have been married prevously). Thomas and Ellen had five
children; we know what happened to the four, but do not know about John
Osborne. Does anyone have a census of about 1920/ 1930 which might list
a John Osborne as resident in Milltown , N.B. Any information will be
