Ed,
According to the Gemeinde Lexicon, the church for Langefeld are in
Middels. You are in luck, there is an OSB for that village.
The emigration records for that area would be in Aurich. Using the FHL
catalog, you will find there are some emigration records available.
The civil registry for Langefeld was in Middels-Osterloog. Civil records
were not kept in Hannover until 1874, with the exception of 1810-1814
when Napoleon required civil records to be kept.
