Subject: Re: [OSTF] Roll Call
Moin,
I am a little intimidated by incredible wealth of knowledge demonstrated by
the members of this list so I have been slow to get going with the Roll
Call for fear of letting everyone know what a novice I am. Lin, your last
note pushed me over the edge.
I am looking for my ancestors that came to Grundy County, Iowa in the late
19th Century. My Great Grandfather is Ausbrand Valentine (also spelled
Valentien) His son, my Grandfather, is Juren Jacobus Valentien. I think
Juren was born 04 October 1864 in Germany. Juren married my Grandmother
Elza Meinders in 1898 (I think).
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Verne Valentine
