Ludwig ( Lui ) Theel .... Born June 30, 1854 at Hagenwalde, Germany. Died
March 7, 1913 (Elkton, SD)

And

Augusta Koepke Theel.. Born January 3, 1866 at Stetten, Germany. Died March
1, 1945 (Elkton, SD)

She was baptized and confirmed in the Luthern faith at Stetten.

At 15 she came to the United States, settled in Waterloo, Iowa

They were married at Strawberry Point, Iowa July 8, 1885 or 1886.
