Thanks for sharing the web site of the MN birth index. I have been
regularly using the MN death index but didn't know the birth index was on
(even if for only a few years.) I love the fact they include the mother's
birth name....the California death index is only a little better--it also
includes the father's birth name as well.

You may be able to find her through the Minnesota Historical Society's
Death Certificate Index if she stayed in Minnesota. They have the
records from about 1906-1996 online and have the certificates on film.
The Society's main page is www.mnhs.org and the Death Certificates
address is people.mnhs.org/dci
The Society also started an on-line Birth certificate Index. It only
covers 1900-1907 at this time. Deatils are located on the Society's
main page.
