Christmas yesterday.
As to your not finding the obit when you wrote to the Historical society
way back in the early 80's, the Buffalo Center Tribune was not
microfilmed until 1985 or so, so they would not have had film to research
earlier for your obit. It is also possible that the historical
society did not get copies of the Buffalo Center Tribune right away. I
ordered my copies thru a Cedar Rapids firm that did the microfilming.
Always good to check the local genie societies. I do have a large
collection of Winnebago county in my home so if anyone is interested in
that county contact me. I'm slow but
