Helen M. Ostrowski Skowronski
Helen M. Ostrowski Skowronski, 80 of Erie
died Monday March 3, 2008
at St. Vincent Health Center.
She was born on Erie January 10, 1928
daughter of the late
Casimir and Mary Gwiazdowski Ostrowski.
Helen retired from the former Yuskovic Insurance Co.
She was a member of St. Stanislaus Church, St. Stanislaus Women's Society, Insurance Women of Erie and the East Side Federation. She enjoyed spending time with her family, reading and traveling.
She was preceded in death by her
husband Frank. J. "Skip" Skowronski,
a sister Theresa Ostrowski
and a brother Stanley Ostrowski.
Survivors include her daughter Carol Hofmann and husband Richard of Erie
and her grandchildren, Kellie, Katie,
Nicole,
and Sarah Rose Hofmann.
Friends may call at the Carl A. Slomski &Son Funeral Home Inc. 2101 Ash St. on Wednesday 2 to 4 p.m. &7 to 9 p.m. and may attend a service there Thursday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Stanislaus Church at 10 a.m. Entombment will be at
Mary Queen of Peace Mausoleum.
Memorials may be to St. Stanislaus Church 516 East 13th St. Erie, Pa. 16503.
