The reprint we did of Addison's book on Captain Richard Owings was pretty
much a pre-sold effort. I ordered 10 extra and they sold quickly. What I did
do was to buy the proof copy (unbound), scan the 750+ pages into my
computer, create a GEDCOM from it, and build an index. I also built the HTML
to use the book online. All of this I rolled up into a CD ROM I sell at the
outrageous price of $15, postage paid. The supply will never run out since I
burn them as I get an order. Be happy to give you a list of the folks who
bought it and you can get there views on its worth,
The scanned images are as good as the book and if you let me know you line,
will send you a page with your ancestor on it so you can see what you are
getting before you buy.
