I have a Martha SOUTH who married in Northants in October 1841 but was 'not
born in the county' in the 1841 census earlier that year. Her father was
William, a mason.
She died in 1846 so I have no information from the 1851 census.

I have spotted, on the IGI, a Martha South baptised at Fifield by Burford
in Oxfordshire on 19 December 1824 (about the right time as she was only 21
when she died). She is recorded here as the daughter of William Benjamin
SOUTH, but no occupation is given of course.

My request is whether anyone has access to discover whether this William
Benjamin of Fifield was a mason - I might then be tempted to add 2 and 2
together!!
