Thank you very much for the information, I'll see how it all fits in.
It's odd that Selina is missing from the household in 1871 when only 13.
She is my Great Grandmother, I have also met misfortune in trying to trace
her marriage to John Leonard SKUCE, which I believe happened in Balscote,
and there are apparently pages missing around the time of the marriage.
What options do I have to find this marriage, the GRO? Does anyone who
visits do look ups there?
I'm not necessarily after a certificate, I'd just like to find a date for
it.
