Hello,
I wonder if anyone can please help me.
In 1880, my ancestor William Beniston lived at 10 Hartley Place,
Philladelphia. I think he died not long after that but have been unable to
find record of his death so thought I'd try burial records. Trouble is, I
can't find which cemetery he would have been buried in.

I have managed to find a map which shows Hartley place. The nearest big
road is numbered 676 and I think it is almost adjacent to a
place marked 'County' (?) Hall at the corner of John F. Kennedy Blvd and
Broad Street. Just to the west of US Mint, Franklin Park and Independence
Hall.

I would be very grateful if someone could tell me where the nearest cemetery
is that would have been open in the late 1800s.
Best wishes,
Ann
(In Nottingham, England)
