Hi all,

This Thomas Godfrey is of my Godfrey line:
Born 1622 in England, most likely Sellindge, Kent County. Married first to
Frances (DOD 10/23/1706) surname unknown, issue: Mary, (married Rowe) Anne,
(married Beck) Joseph and Thomas Jr. Married second to Lucia Russel on Jan.
13, 1707. Died on a farm in Phila. near Germantown about 1714.

Son Thomas Jr. b. 1704 was a friend of Benj. Franklin, member of the Junto
Club, a Math Astrologer, inventor of the quadrant and the Glazier who placed
the windows in Christ Church. Son Joseph was an artist, musician and author
of "the Prince of Parthia (spelling??)".

If anyone would like more info on this family please email me. I am trying to
find a connection to the Godfrey's in Chester County and their alliance with
the BUDD family in PA. and NJ.

Leslie
