1690/1 John Simcocke, Jacob Simcock, and John Simcock, Jr., were
subscribers for the building of the meeting house in Chester.

p76- 1/10/1684 John KINGSMAN to marry Hannah Simcock.

2/5/1688 Subscribing to a position against giving, trading or selling
liquor to the Indians: John Simcock, Randall Vernon, Jacob Simcock,
Thomas Vernon, John Bailes, et al.

7/10/1691 Walter Fawcit and Elizabeth Simcock proposed marriage;
however, the Meeting understands that her father is against the marriage
and therefore asks that they reconsider. [Walter later married Rebecah
Fearn, dau. of Elizabeth Fearn, widow, in 1694. He died by 1708.]

6/4/1692 Ralph FISHBOURN of Talbot Co., MD to marry Elizabeth Simcock,
dau of John Simcock.

2/7/1695 John Simcock Jr. is to be spoken to regarding his lose and
disorderly walking in his conversation.

5/2/1703 George Simpson reported for keeping his hat on when George
Simcock was in prayer and reflecting on his testimony as dead and dry
stuff.

28/11/1705/6 John Simcock, son of Jacob and Alice Simcock, proposed to
marry Mary WALN, dau. of Nicholas Waln of Philadelphia Co.

30/6/1708 Joseph HARVEY of Darby to marry Mary SIMCOCK, dau of Jacob and
Alice Simcock; he prodcued a certificate from Darby.

25/8/1708 Joseph Harvey's marriage reported accomplished in good order.

29/7/1712 Benjamin Simcock to marry Hannah Hodges. [accomplished in good
order 24/9/1712.

29/8/1716 Sarah Simcock disowned for fornication with Samuel Worthington
before their marriage.

28/8/1717 Mary Simcock requested a certificate to Abington.

27/3/1723 Jacob Simcock acknowledged imprudent management of affairs and
drinking too much.

p. 116 31/6/1730 Jacob Simcock requested a certificate to Abington.

p123- 25/5/1736 Sarah Simcock, alias Ruth [Routh] reported married by a
priest.

p124- 25/8/1736 Sarah Simcock, dau of Benjamin Simcock, reported
marrying out to Francis Routh Jr., and was brought to bed about 6 months
after marriage.

p127- 28/3/1739 Samuel Simcock acknowledged fornication and marriage by
a priest.

p164- 30/1/1764 Benjamin Simcock reported for being in the practice of
drinking strong liquor to excess and slighting the care and counsel of
Friends by removing from the meeting a long time ago without a
certificate and not joining with any Monthly Meeting-disowned.

p202-Benjamin Simcock married Elizabeth, widow of William Boon, as early
as 1758. (See Administration Book, Philadelphia).

p.228- 31/5/1710 Paper of condemnation given by Friends of Chester MM
included Jacob Simcock, Alice Simcock and others.

p.235- 16/10/1718 John Simcock acknowledged his former loose course of
life in frequenting taverns and keeping vain company. Abington.

27/3/1723 Jacob Simcock of Ridly acknowledged mismanagment of his
property and what his father left him so as to be unable to pay all his
creditors, also occasionally taking a little too much drink.

p238- 26/9/1716 Samuel Worthington and wife Sarah, dau of Jacob Simcock,
both of Springfield. Disowned for keeping company without parents'
consent and fornication before marriage.
