Around 1702, a survey was made to the west of the London tract, as
Londongrove was then called, for Letitia Penn and her brother, Wm. There
were 2 tracts of 5000 acres each, although there is some evidence that
Letitia's which lay nearest to the London tract contained 7175 acres. Her
tract was called Fagg's Manor, in honor of Sir John Fagg, and the hame has
been handed down to the present time, being lept alive by the Presbyterian
church which is located near the NW corner of the manor.

> The deed for the McDowell farm in Upper Oxford township (close to Penn and
New London townships) notes that it was originally purchased from Letitia
Penn by Job Ruston. Job bought about 400 acres but this might give you a
general idea of where the remaining 15,000 acres were located.
