Hi Kate - I have quite a bit of information up on Captain Thomas Woodward on
our Web Page at

I have nothing on Margaret Houston except the notice of marriage in the
Boulson's American Daily Advertister
on 24 October 1792 at the Second Presbyterian Church. I am curious whether
Margaret Houston was the mother of Thomas Woodward, Jr. or whether he was
son of the first wife. Among the notices in the Daily Advertiser a Benjamin
Houston is mentioned who was Master of the Brig Paragon in 1799 and I wonder
if he was a relative of Margaret. I can also put you in touch with a
descendant who has researched Thomas Sr and Jr for a number of years (he
does not have email), including the maritime records.
