Carson doesn't seem to be too common an area surname, and I hope
someone will check to see if there are any wills with your names of
interest. All I could find in Futhey and Cope was a Samuel Carson whose
name appeared on the 1753 tax list for London Grove plus the 1765 Chester
archives list the following;
Carson, James owned 155 acres in Kennett Twp
" Patrick " 100 " East Fallowfield
" Robert 125 Uwchlan
" Robert inmate in Uwchlan
" Samuel 50 acres in London Grove
" William 0 East Nottingham
If you know their religion, do a place check at the LDS and see what
church records are filmed for London Grove. But don't forget - you can't
take anything found in the Ancestral Files as fact. They are riddled with
provable errors, so take what you find there as clues only, and then go on
to prove or disprove with your own primary research.....deeds, wills, birth
and death records, etc.
