There are about 3 or 4 pages in the book, on the Hollingsworth
family....WAAAAY too much to type in......I'll give the main dates and info
as follows;.
V....son of Henry and Katherine, of Ballyvickcrannell, SEgoe Parish, ARmagh,
Ireland. B. 6 mo, 1632...at 32 bought Ballyvickcrannell, a plantation first
granted to Wm. Powell of Staffordshire June. 1610. This is a rural area a
few miles east of Portadown . some time in the 1660s Vl. became a member of
Lurgan MM and he and his family re in the MM records. HE requested a
certificate of removal to PA which was granted 25 5 MO, 1682. m. on 7 June,
1655 Ann Ree, dau of Nicholas and Ann Ree of Tanderagee, Armagh and by her
had 4 children; wife 2 was Ann Calvert, b. 1650 and m. 1672 in Friends
Meeting house, Armagh. She was the dau Thomas and Jane Calvert of Drumgor,
Seagor, Armagh. Ann's grandfather, John Calvert, came from Great Moorsholm
near Guisboruogh, North Riding, Yorkshire and moved to Legacory, Armagh
before 1617.
Valentine died 1711, buried at Newark, Delaware;
Children by first wife;
Mary, Henry, Thomas Catherine
by 2nd wife;
Samuel, Enoch, Valentine, Ann, John, Joseph, Enoch (yes, 2 Enochs)
If you tell me your line of descent I'll post what I find on that child.
