$1333 1/3 to erect buildings on same.
To dau. Frances wife of Richard Strode one-half my land on west side of
Susquehanna River.
To dau. Hannah wife of Joseph Gheen $1400.
To dau. Elizabeth, wife of William Beal $1400.

Lydia and Hannah £30 each, also a legacy "to the child my wife is now
big with." Executors: Wife and brother Edward.

Samuel Bettle when 21. To son John a tract of land in Birmingham
containing 36 purchased of John Bennett, also my 1/4 part of water corn
mill called Gilpins in Concord. To son Caleb my plantation in
Thornbury containing 200 acres purchased of brother William. Executors
to sell 250 acres of land in Lampeter Township, Lancaster County, and
divide money to daughters Ann Cock, Mary Jones, Jane Temple, Hannah and
Phebe Brinton. To brother Edward £5. Sons James and Moses are
mentioned. Executors: Wife Mary and brother Edward.
Wit: James Dilworth, Daniel Gest, Richard Jones.
* Mentions deceased father, William Brinton, and sisters Mary Corbit
and Ann Bettle.

Elizabeth and Phebe £5 each and to Robert and John Chamberlin £5. To
son in law Joseph Walter 5 shillings and to his wife, my only daughter
Jane dishes that was her mother's. To granddaughter Hannah Walter case
of drawers. Remainder to wife Cisly. Executrix: Wife Cisly.
Witnesses: Robert Mendenhall, Abraham Johnson, Stephen Hall.

one in Birmingham, containing 57 acres, purchased of James Townsend,
the other in Westtown, containing 44 1/4 acres, purchased of Isaac
Harvey, also 6 acres of another tract. To son Thomas plantation in
Birmingham purchased of Sarah Townsend, except the above 6 acres. To 4
children of son William, deceased, Phebe, Lydia, James and William £8
each at 21. Remainder to wife Mary and 5 children, Joseph, Thomas,
Samuel, Phebe and Mary. Executors: Brother-in-law John Brinton, H. H.
Graham. Letters to John Brinton.
Wit: Thomas Darlington, Emmor Jefferis, Benjamin Powell.
Codicil in 1783 states son Joseph is now deceased and gives his legacy
to his 3 children, William, Lydia and Mary.
Witness to Codicil: Thomas Speakman.

personal. Son Charles to have 50 acres off the east end of the land I
live on, if he should marry a wife. Executor: Son Peter.

other child of son Samuel, ditto. And residue of estate to son Samuel.
Executors: Son Samuel and friend Caleb Peirce, of Delaware County.
Wits.: Joshua Sharpless, Abraham Darlington.
Codicil devises to son Samuel and daughter Mary Jones her undivided
interest in a plantation late of Joseph Brinton, deceased, in Delaware
County. Wits.: Joseph Painter, Benjamin Sharpless.
