I thought this was interesting, a paper read at the Hist. Soc, in 1948, on Easter customs of Lancaster Co..... even includes the origins of the Easter Bunny, which certainly surprised me with it's early beginnings ! I thought it some sort of ad-man invention, like Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer!
