According to Futhey and Cope, Roland Rogers paid taxes in 1753, in East
Nottingham and was a land owner in the same township in 1774.
The 1765 Chester Archives list Roland as owning 410 acres in East
Nottingham twp.
It also appears that there was a Roland Rodgers in 1810 Washington Co,
Pa Fed. Census.
I'm sure you've considered this, but do keep in mind that the name
Rogers is often spelled Rodgers, too. I'm assuming that you've joined the
Rogers/Rodgers groups and posed your queries?...ditto to the Rogers/Rodgers
genforum and all the county lists where the fella lived? and, checked the
archives of all these lists to see if something has been posted in the past
on Roland ? ditto the genweb archives? (I must say, that name, Roland
Rogers, sounds mighty familiar to me.........but, why! I can't remember.)
