Have you requested a will lookup, just one of the those offered on the
Chester site? If found, you would at least get death dates and those who
inherited...however, I'm unsure which marriage you're trying to date, the
first or second?
Sandra
Mary Wilson Patton married Archiblad Fowls/Fowles/Fowlis circa 1761-2
probaibly lower Oxford Chester County area. Mary's husband William Patton
Sr. died circa 1761 and she was pregnant with child at the time and and
married an old boy friend shortly after her first husbands death. The
chikdren of William Patton Sr. did not inherit their fathers land until
their mother died about 1788-89. Sons william Jr and John Pattton were
said
to have inherited but other siblings may also have inherited, James; Mary;
Elizabeth; Magdelen; James . Any information on dates whould be helpful.
William Sr. was said to have died in Lower Oxford in c.1761.
