I am researching to see if I can find a paper trail linking my CLINTONs to
this Archibald.

I have a James CLINTON b. 1761 in New London Twnship, Chester Co (this is
according to his statements in his Rev War pension file). We "assume" that this
Archibald is his grandfather....but I have not as yet been able to find a
birth record for my James, wherein I would expect to find his father's name...who
we expect would be the James listed as son in Archbald's will.

Anyone researching this?
