Hoping to find parents of William RAYLE, b. 1710 Philadelphia PA, d. 1754
London Grove, Chester Co, PA. I have much on his descendants, but need anything
on his parentage!

Some Rayle researchers believe the family was from Cornwall, England,
possibly by way one or more generations in Virginia. Some of William's children
married Quakers and moved to North Carolina; others moved to western PA.

William 1 married Elizabeth -- about 1735 in Chester Co. Elizabeth died in
Adams Co, PA. I am a descendant of their son, William 2 b. 17443 or 1744, who
married a Quaker, Hannah Mickle (daughter of John Courtney Mickle of Co Antrim ,
Ireland, and Mary Jane Watson). William and Hannah are buried on their family
farm in Fayette Co, PA. Hannah's sister, Jane Watson Mickle, married
William's brother, Thomas. They also moved to Fayette Co.

Any assistance or direction would be greatly appreciated.
