Very interesting on the Coffin lines!
Two of the Coffins, William and Priscilla (siblings of Abel Coffin), married
into the Hunt family. William Hunt, sibling of Esther Hunt (she m. William
Coffin) and Asa Hunt (he m. Priscilla Coffin) married Ann Rayl, and his brother,
Abner Hunt, married her sister, Mary Rayl! Esther and Asa Hunt were the
children of Eleazar Hunt and Catherine Cox of Bucks Co, PA and Guilford Co, NC. Ann
Rayl was the daughter of George Rayl and Jane Brown of Chester Co PA and
Guilford Co, NC; George was the son of William Rayle b. 1710 and Elizabeth
<unknown> of Chester Co, PA.
The Hunts married into my Dicks and Maris (maternal) families. This one of
many instances where my paternal and maternal lines from Chester Co, PA cross
paths in my FTM files! LOL

<<...The one oddity that has had me stumped for quite a while is my
ggGrandfather, Issac (or Isaac) Hitchcock White. His wife was Abigail Virginia Coffin,
and she supposedly asked him to change his name from Hitchcock to White
before they were married. I have plenty of info on Abigail, but all I have on
Isaac is the year of his death,1874. I have been unable to locate any data on his
parents. Isaac and Abigails son, Stephen Garner White, married Mary Ann
Harrold, and they had 13 children. One of them, Walter Raleigh White, married May
Belle White - they were my maternal grandparents...
