Hi,



I am researching Sarah Jane Toomes born 1835 in Chester, PA daughter of
William Toomes and Margaret Wilcox also born in Pennsylvania. Sarah married
Elmer Edwards of Delaware county (date of birth 4/29/1829) on August 17,
1857. Elmer served with The Delaware County Fusileers in the Civil War.
Sarah and Elmer lived in Chester, Pa until her death during childbirth.
After that Sarah's mother and two of her sisters Mary and Emma Toomes came
to live with Elmer to help take care of the children.



I am trying to find Elmer Edwards' parents, Margaret Wilcox's parents and
the origin of William Toomes. I would also like to find where they are
buried.
