Have you looked at the 1790 Federal Census, for Berks Co.?....if Jacob were
the son of Adam, and Adam lived in Berks, then Jacob should appear in the
household of Adam, enumerated by sex and age.

"I have a Will for my ancestor, Jacob Smith, who died May 1841 in Coventry
Township, Chester Co., PA.

According to the IGI, Elizabeth Cassel married Adam Smith. They had a son
Jacob born 1779 in Berks Co PA, who died about 1841. No location or source
is stated for the 1841 death date.

Can anyone help me determine if this is the same Jacob Smith?"
