Hi,
Ruddy complection, usually means with red blotches on the face.
Dark complection...?? olive colored... darker then fair complection.
My sister has grey eyes. They are not that unusual, but take on strong
colors from what she wares... as in blue or green.. they never look brown or
hazel.
6 ft is tall for 1800's but as you get closer to the present the height of
both sexes gets taller.
For example try looking at castles that were built in the 1400-1500's. One
example here in the states is in Florida, St Augustine, on the Florida coast
the door ways would fit about a 5ft man.. and this was a fort... so you
would think they even wore their armour, that it would be larger.
