Something is wrong with your dates.

Cora Martha WESCOTT couldn't be born in 1872 and have a child Martha in 1882........Maybe Martha was born later? 1982?

In backtracking for Isaac DICKINSON and Martha......
Year: 1850; Census Place: Sadsburyville, Chester, Pennsylvania; Roll: M432_766; Page: 318; Image: 203.
Isaac DICKINSON, age 26, PA, laborer
Martha age 23, PA
James, age 2, PA
William age 1, PA

This must be them as in 1870 they are in Valley, Chester co with several children including your John age 11.

So, in 1840 there should be a DICKINSON with a male 15-20 in the h/h somewhere in Chester Co. There were none in LAncaster Co, and I don't think the ones in Berks Co were yours.

So.......in Chester co 1840:

There was an Isaac DICKINSON in Sadsbury in 1840, but he did not have a male in this category.

I found a Morris DICKINSON in East Marlborough, Chester Co with a male 15-20.....
Not sure how far away this is from Sadsbury.....

There is also a Jesse DICKINSON in West Caln with a male 15-20.

In E Goshen Chester Co there was a Joseph DICKINSON with 2 males 15-20.

So, do any of these ring a bell?

Maybe someone knows of these 3, and any descendents, and whether any of them had a son Isaac b c1824?
