I find a Clayton family that looks a 'likely', although I can't find a Caleb
in the right generation....here 'tis (this is just a brief blurb);
Wm Clayton....arrived in NH in 1678..d. 1689..children ...Prudence; Honour;
Wm; Mary
Wm Jr d Chichester ca 1727..ch Wm; Richard; Rachel; Edward' Ambrose; Thomas;
Abel
WmIII d 1757 ch Mary; Wm; Lydia; Sarah; Moses; Prudence; Patience
Edward....lived in Bradford...d. 1760 ch....John; Elizabeth; Hannah;
Joshua; Wm; Sarah; Susanna
Joshua lived on father's land m Martha Baker....ch Aaron; Mary;
Joshua;Samuel; Hannah; Jacob; Martha; CALEB, Rachel; Susanna. Isaac.
So, there is one Caleb in this family, and lots of possible fathers
for YOUR Caleb.....
