In 1720, the first assessment of the inhabitants of "near ye Branches of
the ffrench Creek and the Branches of Brandywine, appears, and Mordicay
Lincoln is on that list...
In 1722 the name of Nantmel first appears, and the name Mordecai
Lincoln appears on that list..
In 1724, the name Mordecay Lincoln appear in what was the first time the
name Coventry appears in records.

There seem to be many mentions of the name, Mordecai Lincoln, in lots of
Berks Co wills.....I found no such mention in Chester wills, so Berks looks
to be a likely place to look. ......(I also found a good many Abraham
Lincolns in Berks wills....apparently it was a common family name.)
