Apparently, Thomas Vance died without a will, but there are administrative
papers on record.....while not as 'good' as a will, they sometimes may
contain invaluable information...children's names, etc.. If you don't have
a copy of these adm. papers, you may obtain a copy of these papers from
Records and Archives.
VANCE, THOMAS. West Nantmel.December 22, 1810. Jacob Vance, Administrator.

It appears as if E. Nantmeal may be where a Thomas and Jacob Vance
lived....Thomas appeared as a witness to the will of Wm Brown, 1779, in East
Nantmeal, and Jacob, too, served as wtiness to several E. Nantmeal wills.
However, at the time of his death he is listed as from Brandywine in his own
adm. papers.
VANCE, JACOB. Brandywine. March 8, 1815.Magdalen Vance, administrator.
Jacob Vance appears as a landowner, 1774, in East Nantmeal....Thomas or
William do not. The only Vance in the 1765 Chester Archives is Joseph, sho
is listed as an inmate in West Nottingham twp,
