Natalie......I think you meant that Eliza JOHN was dau of Abia and Martha (JOHN) JOHN. Martha was his cousin and they were disowned from the meeting at Uwchlan. Martha was dau of Reuben JOHN and Lydia TOWNSEND. Reuben was another son of Griffith JOHN and Ann WILLIAMS.
I don't see anything in my reference Birth book by Humphrey for David DAVIS and Rachel JOHN, but maybe someone else has more from all the Monthly meetings.......
The Eliza JOHN diary book is full of interesting info for the JOHNs.
One of my grgrandfather's sisters - Mary Ann LANDIS married Edwin B JOHN, son of Levi JOHN m Eliza Ann RETTEW, who was son of Robert JOHN m Mary MORGAN, who was son of Reuben JOHN and Lydia Townsend.
Good luck.......Diana in > Date: Wed, 19 Mar 2008 11:17:18 -0400> From: > Subject: Re: [PaOldC] Griffith JOHN and Sarah COOPE; Abia John and Sarah Lloyd and David Davis, 19th century> To: > > It may be helpful to google the Eliza John Diary which has a great deal of > information about the John family in Northumberland and Philadelphia/Chester > Counties.
