Two Mt. Penn youth have been selected for avaiation service abroad. Luther Shellhammer, 22, graduate of Rising Sun Aeronautics school in Philadelphia, son of Mr & Mrs Leroy Shellhammer, is on his way to Lisbon, Portugal for a Pan American Airways school in pilot mechanics.
Donald Fornwalt, 22, son of Mr & Mrs Edward O. Fornwalt, 2556 Perkiomen Ave., leaves Monday for England to work in an airplane factory. He has been employed at Glenn L Martins in Baltimore.
