I am seeking any information at all on Casper Fisher, his wives, his
parents, and his siblings.
Casper was born about 1825. He died on 18 Jan 1891. He served in the
Civil War with Co. K of the 78th PA Volunteers Infantry. Casper made
his home in Lincoln Township, Huntingdon County, in the area many people
call High Germany, close to the Nancy's Boat to Shore Campground on the
new Raystown Lake.
Casper married Margaret Harker, who was born 29 Mar 1819 and died 24
Oct. 1882. It is believed that he married again after her death, and
that the 2nd wife survived him. Casper is buried in the White Church
Cemetery in Hesston, while Margaret is buried in the Union Cemetery in
Marklesburg.
Their children included: Mary Jane, who died young; Catherine who
married George Hun; Jackson who married Sarah Belle Swope; Sarah A. who
married Jacob Widner; Hannah who married Scott Schell; Ellen Margaret
who married Joseph McCall; and Malinda who married Joseph George
Washington Norris.
If you think you have any info at all on Casper, please let me know at
.
Thanks so much,
Deb
